My love for photography comes from all the beauty I see
every time I go into the Cascade mountains while climbing,
backpacking or back-country skiing. My mission is to
bring it home for you to enjoy and to share in my excitement
over the natural world.

My first camera was a Minolta SRT101 quite a few years ago and I havent
stopped taking pictures ever since. I took that thing with me on every trip
whether downtown Seattle or tramping around the back-country. I took a break
from it for a while when I was bitten by the video bug. The digital revolution
brought me back to still photography and a Nikon D300. I love bringing home
the nature I capture in my camera to look at, share and study. My photos have
appeared in the Seattle Times, Redmond Reporter, Mei magazine, Signpost magazine and a book cover.
I am a Washington native and a long time resident of greater Seattle.
My real job is software developer for the Boeing Company. With me on my
journey have been my great wife and two kids.
